Well, i thought that we should have a thread for this topic i want mccain he is a honest man who refused to leave his comrades alone in Vietnam, he is the type of person this country needs right now, also, he has not only republican viewpoints but also some democrat ones as well, which shows me he is neither a right wing liberal, or a left wing consertive i hate hillary though obama is a great person and would also make a good president, i just like mccain a little better

ok here's how I view it, personally I'm for Obama in it, but as far as everyone's pros/cons, well more their cons, heres how I see it McCain:He doesn't have a chance of winning, okay he does, but it's about the same chance as a Nirvana reunion tour lol, I would love to see someone show that not all republicans are like Bush, but nobody wants to risk it happening again so we're stuck like this for over a decade lol Hillary: I view her as the best candidate in the form simple of brass tax, as in she would help the economy the most and put the most money in America's pocket, which is a huge thing right now, but she's too black/white for people today Obama: I don't think he would do that well in the way of monetary achievement but I think he would help in the uniting of the country as a single entity rather than all the groups and what not there is now, which at this point IMHO is the most important thing out of all of them

Obama shut down hillary's lowering gas taxes bit this morning on the news. he said that if they lower national tax (which is what she's proposing to do) then the gas companies will simply raise their taxes to take up the slack, so the only people that profit are the companies whereas if we keep the national tax then we still have the funding for roads, bridges etc.
and i see mccain as being more for war then for negotiation, simply because of his past in nam. you've also got to immediately question his mental capacity if another situation comes up while hes in office. instead of entering late in the war like america normally has, he would be initiating it without any thought whatsoever.
i agree that obama would work the hardest of the three to unify america. that was a whole soap box of his this morning. hilliary will be one of those hutchinson like women examining everything to point out how women aren't treated fairly in society. also, being a women, third world countries that don't respect their own women will most likely refuse negotiation and trade with her because she will be viewed as their equal in a leadership position. take the extremities of that and those same countries will view america as much weaker with a female president, and take advantage of that. the hoover dam is next.

I agree with most of that lol except for the hoover dang bit, not a horrible idea, supplying power to essentially 1/7 of the country geographically and about 1/4 by people, but it wouldn't instantly kill as many people as something else would and that owuld just make america unite, like after the 9/11 attacks, I think that it would probably be something a lot more populated, like something in new york again, either that or something in LA
